Sometimes God wants to save us from ourselves. He sees where our life is headed and He wants to prevent disaster. Cain was murderously angry for no reason. He was angry with his brother and he was angry with God. At this juncture, God asks him a crucial question, “Why are you angry?” What’s more, He warns him that “sin is crouching at his door”. But Cain doesn’t listen. God is still in the habit of asking us crucial, life changing questions. Will we listen?
