Editorial Reviews:
Cairo Jim is back again but it's not the same song and dance. No, this time, he's in search of a lost civilization that danced itself right into extinction! And it looks like there might be some unexpected company coming his way. As always, Geoffrey McSkimming performs his own work, giving it that extra oomph that only the author can. American kids, don't worry about McSkimming's Australian accent; he's very easy to understand. Best of all, McSkimming creates lots of fun voices for his delightful characters.
Critic Reviews:
"When you tire of stories about the places and people you know, try the witty word play and over-the-top adventure of Cairo Jim for an outrageous tonic." (The Age)

Rollicking & Hilarious Adventures
I laughed my head off 12 times, and that was before I got half way through! There are countless smiles, chuckles, snorts and chortles on every page of the rollicking adventures of this antepodean Indiana Jones. For kids and camels of all ages.
Funny and exciting
Wonderful fun and a great first adventure for Cairo Jim and friends. I laughed and was moved. Looking forward to more Cairo Jim stories.
