The eighteen-year-old pitcher was hospitalized and airlifted to Atlantic City Medical Center, where hes recovering with his family. The other driver, who ran a stop sign, has been charged with disregarding a stop sign and reckless driving. Cairone, drafted in the second round, is progressing positively in his recovery.
