Despite Caitriona taking a PR role there is a big crew involved in the upkeep of Penny Dinners including; a board of Trustees, Management and Volunteers. She speaks of the generosity from members of the public and organisations from Cork and further a field. Cork's Red FM were happy to be involved with the donate a dinner campaign for the 2nd year running. This involved the public donating €7.50 (the cost of a lunch) as they couldn't have a Christmas party this year. Also involved was insight insurance. The grand total came to 10k. Cork Penny Dinners now have a new service centre which will open in accordance with government guidelines. Some of the facilities available in the new centre are: Recovery Meetings, Mindfulness and Wellness workshops, a cookery school and a school which teaches survival skills. For more information about Cork Penny Dinners visit: http://corkpennydinners.ie/
