God has a soft spot for us his creation, so He gave us a sure word of prophecy, His word, we can have dominion over all the elements, resources, animals and our environment. He created us with inherent abilities to lead and cultivate our world.

In today’s reality, man is not anywhere close to this dominion. In this series, we will be discovering God’s heart desire for mankind. All the scriptures we read tells us this deep truth, He has special plans for us.

In 3 John 2, John in the Spirit identifies three of God’s greatest desire for us captured in one term: PROSPERITY. Gospel means good news, so in essence; this is the good news of prosperity. God wants us to prosper in three dimensions:

1. Spiritual prosperity (as your soul prospers): Growing to Maturity

2. Financial Prosperity (in all things): Prosper in all things

3. Bodily prosperity (be in health): Living in Divine Health

Have you ever heard God speak? How do you hear the voice of God? As a young boy, seeking the face of God, I had a dialog with God one day and I asked him, ‘Lord what plans do you have for my future?’ His reply still resounds in my head: “every plan I have for you, I have placed in your mind. When you are ready, search deep, and you will find them.” This statement changed my view of life ever since. Notable among them is the fact that God does not relate with us independent of our mind. God wants to relate with everyman born of woman, but the primary means of doing this is through our mind

Today on the teachings of Jesus Series, I will answer the question: why do girls love bad boys?

I believe trapped in everyman is the love for the dangerous, daring and daunting. We love security, yet we want to explore, especially when we are younger. Girls love boys that will arouse them. When a lady wants to get married, she seems more interested in security, but when she wants to enjoy the best live wants to offer and live her best life, she admires danger and would explore her world.

Logic teaches us to believe what we can see, smell, touch, taste and hear. Then it uses possibility theories to explain away things beyond our senses, basing them on certain possible parameters. Anything beyond these parameters is said to be irrational and unreasonable. History and science have tried to explain Jesus the son of God as either a myth or some illogical claim to an inexistent throne. Man is probably the only God there is. On my first topic on these teachings of Jesus series, I talked about finding meaning in life by believing in Jesus and teaching his commands. How can we believe in a Jesus who is a myth, and claims a throne that is not existent?

I CAN'T FIND MEANING IN LIFE

Why can’t I find meaning in life is the question most of us have unanswered. Jesus in His teachings had an answer to this question. He promised to help us live a life of purpose and meaning.

Life is not a lonely path with no destination. Life is a journey to a safe haven. We travel from where we are to a place of satisfaction, full of joy and peace. When we don’t find meaning in life, then happiness has eluded us and we have lost satisfaction in our daily affairs. Happiness comes with material things acquired. This state lasts as long as what is acquired is still new. After a while, it goes and we need something new to give us that sense of satisfaction. It runs like a circle with no end. At this state, the quest for life meaning begins.
