Missing a chapter
What didnt you like about Gabra Zackmans performance?
I didn't not like the voices she used for any of the protagonists. Kendra sounds whiny. Marnie sounds too matronly. Pocket should have a Southern accent. And Hiram just sounded wrong. Also, the narration was too fast for my taste. I tried slowing it down to .75x, but that just made the bad voices worse.
Any additional comments?
I love this book. I've read it several times and was happy to see an audio version pop up on Audible. And so when an entire chapter was skipped (Chapter 12 of the book), it was glaringly obvious. The book has 68 chapters, not 67. Ever chapter after 12 is mis-numbered in the narration.
Loved it!
Brought back great memories! The reader did a beautiful job! Highly recommend. Will buy any from this author or reader.

I have loved this book for years. Just good fun historical fiction. I like the reader. BUT... chapter 12 is missing. I mean just not there!! Very odd.
