The South African Men’s Forum is calling for a united front in dealing with deaths at initiation schools. They have expressed their sadness at the deaths of 17 initiates this winter in the Eastern Cape. Some of the demands they are making is that the names of all boys who died be published, those who are accountable for the deaths be arrested and that the Justice Department and the relevant authorities remove the secrecy around the deaths.
