Happy New Year once again! I’m excited to share with you my new poem, “Call Me Into Presence.” I wish for all of you to be fully present in this New Year and in your lives.
In our fast-paced world, it’s so easy to get caught up in endless to-do lists, lost in nostalgia, or weighed down by regrets from the past, or anxieties about the future. It can feel like we’re constantly running from one moment to the next, missing the beauty and richness of the present. Across many wisdom traditions around the world, one shared truth is that true self-actualization happens when we embrace and dwell fully in the now—when we cultivate presence.
Call me Into Presence
Call me into presence, into the here and now, into this space— right here, on the ground—into my bodyCall me into presence, away from lingeringin the past and future, away from wandering in my mindCall me into presence.
Call me into beingwhen I am busy becoming Call me into letting gowhen I want to hold on.Call me into trying softerwhen I push harder.
Call me into surrender—to this: what is, and into releasing the struggle,a fight already wonas I let go.
💜💜💜 If you resonate with this poem, it would mean so much to me if you subscribe, share it, or leave a comment. 💜💜💜
Here are two wonderful books that I higly recommend on the topic of presence:
* “The power of now: A guide to Spiritual Enlightenment” by Eckard Tolle
* “The book of awakending: Having the Life you want” by Mark Nepo
Love 💜,
Rose
