In the wake of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 announcement I can't help but talk about why I don't care. After just one year seeing COD MW3 release feels strange for a variety of reasons. I don't think anyone expected Call of Duty MW3 this fast and many just assumed it was going to be MW2 DLC instead.

My experience with Modern Warfare 2 was incredibly mixed and mostly disappointing. COD MW2 gameplay was clearly not ready and filled with bugs and glitches. Most of us expected a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 DLC instead of a sequel this fast.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III launches on November 10. The game is expected to be released across PlayStation and Xbox consoles, in addition to PC.
