Call of Duty: Warzone Temporarily Removes Rebirth Island

Listen Later

Rebirth Island, a popular map in Call of Duty: Warzone, was temporarily removed from the game's playlist due to numerous technical issues that arose following its return as part of the Black Ops 6 Season 1 update. The map was reintroduced on November 14, 2024, but was pulled from the game just hours later because of significant glitches, including inconsistent and imbalanced audio, choppy movement, game freezes, and other map-specific issues. Players reported problems such as deafening audio, invisible guns, and the inability to hear enemy footsteps or gunfire, which are crucial for competitive gameplay. Raven Software and Activision announced that they have removed Rebirth Island to investigate and fix these issues, with other maps and modes remaining unaffected. The map is speculated to return during the next Warzone playlist update, potentially on November 21, 2024, though there is no official confirmation yet.
