Calling upon the name of the LORD is like calling upon the constitution, civil rights...any body of works.
Calling upon the name is what the name stands for and not what someone says it is. Many says the name means whatever they purport it to be, but not so. The name means truth. For example, is it right for a person to steal from another person?
Or, is it right for a person to lie to another?
This is what the name means.
However, the name is NOT comprehensible that is why we need the "spirit of truth" to continue to teach us.
To call on the name is the beginning.
