Jesus said, Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all (Mark 10:43-44). This does not sound like the worlds idea of the typical master/servant relationship. Of course, it all depends upon who is the Master. When God is Master, and people are in HIS kingdom, there is transformation that is not of this world.

The hard lesson to learn for those who no longer belong to this world is to UN-learn the worlds ways. The paradox is that the worlds ways to freedom and greatness often lead to slavery and loss of greatness. However, those who bow to Gods ways will find true freedom and true greatness. And the added bonus is that others will benefit and God will be glorified.
