With Pentecost we celebrate the birth of the church, giving thanks for the ways we are different and the same. So it was at the first Pentecost, when all would hear the same message in their own language. How are we called to live similarly? Not just to get out of our comfortable boxes to see and understand one another despite our differences, but also to lean in to that – uniting together in Christ to love God and one another more fully, wholly, and completely?
