Calling All Fans

This week Kody has something to get off his chest so your host jump right in. Kody and Anthony discuss if people, during these playoffs, are just being prisoners of the moment. After every win it seems like maybe there is a new sheriff in town. Is everyone overreacting or is everyone spot on? This leads right into a conversation, maybe even a debate, on who in the NBA is really a number 1 option. Anthony and Kody explain their point of view and how they determine who are number 1 options on a championship team. 

Kody and Anthony then shift gears to talk about if athletes should have to talk to the media. Kody and Anthony understand that mental health is a big deal, and never want to undermine it. If you feel like they have, we apologize. Kody and Anthony share their point of view on the topic while trying to see it from all sides. They understand that they don't know the whole situation, and that their point of view are not all points of view. In this week’s episode KODY IS BACK!!! But Kody isn't too happy. Kody is happy to be back with the fans, but is unhappy with his Miami Heat. During the recording of this episode the Miami Heat are down 3-0, and it isn't looking good. Kody expresses his displeasure with how things are going, which leads Anthony and Kody into talking all things 2021 NBA Playoffs. Kody makes the case that Kawhi could be on his way to Miami and that Luka is elevating hisself into the "best player on the planet" conversation. Anthony isn't so sure he agrees. In this week’s episode it is just Anthony with us. Kody and his family are doing some traveling and he could not join in. Anthony does his best to hold it down for all the fans. Anthony first talks about his new phrase "participation appreciation". His hypothesis is if fans participated in a certain sport growing up, or have fond memories of that sport from child hood, they will in turn watch that sport on tv the most or more intently than the others. Anthony then discusses why he thinks Urban Meyer should trade the #1 overall pick for a sure fire Hall of Fame QB. Anthony finishes up this week's episode with trying to sell you on the NBA playoffs. Anthony doesn't believe the NBA playoffs, are a foregone conclusion. Kody and Anthony did not leave out the women in their discussion, they made their picks for both the women and the men.
