What a time to be launching this podcast! 

Hi, I am your host Simi.

This totally didn't go as I planned. I have been planning to launch a podcast for months now. I knew WHY I wanted to do this. I wanted to create a support network for South Asian Mamas. I had a vision of what I wanted to talk about and what my show would look like. Things have taken a sharp turn since this global pandemic has creeped up on each one of us and affected our lives in some way or the other.

I was going to put this podcast on hold. But then I thought, if there is a time to build a community, a support network for mothers, it is now! Now is when all of us need the most support because things are not normal.  We are going through exceptional circumstances that never existed. We are all going through this together. I decided to still launch this podcast as my reason has not changed. We can still support each other in the toughest of times.
