Pastor Matt called an audible on his sermon today. Due to the mass shootings from yesterday, particularly El Paso and the shooter’s white supremacist manifesto, the focus of the message changed. Unsurprisingly, the lectionary was applicable as the gospel and epistle lessons worked themselves in well with the topic of the day.
