The Leo energy is about child-like courage—creativity, place of wonder, invention, the place in all of us that we have lost over the years because we haven’t needed it. We live in a culture of instant gratification. At any given moment, there’s no need for any of us to be creative. We can watch other people be creative or hear other people’s opinions on social media or TV or the news any time of the day. But where is our creativity, our opinion, our art throughout that day? We’ve become a population stimulated in other people’s business. We’ve lost our own connection with our own creativity. This year is significant because it is a triple-eight year: the year 17 or 1+7 is eight, and we just passed the eighth day of the eighth month. Three eights represent three different infinity symbols. And three is the number of healing. This is where we heal our infinity. This is a karmic year of cleaning up old karmic cycles. All karma means is cause and effect. Our cleanup includes messes we don’t consciously remember, but whatever we’ve suppressed, we’ve likely found it has surfaced in the last 30 days. Things from our childhood that we’ve pushed away are now surfacing, possibly just as a feeling instead of an actual memory. At the time, we may have been completely unconscious so we don’t remember it. Maybe we haven’t realized that what is happening right now has always been happening, or has happened in the past, and now we’re in our becoming energy. We’re getting our feet wet with higher self, which is becoming more of a part of our lives now. But the universe is now telling us to stop watching other people living their lives, and go out and live our own lives. This is the start of a time when there are lots of people moving into their becoming.
