The story of Elijah on Mt Carmel is stirring to say the least. But behind these events is a man who longs for Israel to know their God. It is a longing we share. This episode in Israel's history is a revelation of God's grace. In taking them back to their roots, Elijah shows them that everything they really need they already have-in God. In the -fire' that fell on Christ, we also have a message of grace and this is what we need to know, and what we want the world to know.
