Read the story slowly, imagining that you are Simon Peter and Jesus is speaking to you.

⦁ Why do you think Jesus called disciples do follow him?

⦁ ‘But because you say so, I will let down the nets’

⦁ Are we prepared to do something simply because Jesus says so?

⦁ What are the barriers or stumbling blocks we keep putting in the way?

⦁ ‘So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.’

⦁ Is this a model for us to follow?

⦁ Is there something we need to leave behind so that we can follow Jesus?
