In this second part of our series on devotion, I share a personal story of calling — a moment when my heroes, Dick Hoyt and Rick Hoyt, became part of my own life.

In 2014, as I began my sixth year of teaching, God brought the Hoyt family into my life, and I knew I was being asked to answer His call. With courage and faith, I followed a quiet nudge and asked a question that would forever change my life — and the lives of so many others.
