Calls to tackle economic inequality to combat violence against women

The Economic Inclusion Advisory Committee, chaired by former Labor minister Jenny Macklin, wants to see JobSeeker raised by $17 per day in the May budget.

The committees annual pre-budget report, also identified violence against women is a barrier for obtaining work, and an ongoing issue with child support.
