20. Philippians 4:10-20 Joy in Giving-Part 3
Pastor Phil Ballmaier
Calvary Chapel Elk Grove
10-22-23
Pastor Phil normally approaches the study of The Bible verse-by-verse, but The Lord has laid it on his heart to study The Book of Philippians topically.
Today Pastor Phil continues in Philippians, with Part 3 of his message, "Joy in Giving", and the conclusion of our series in the Book of Philippians.
God gave freely to us, and we should give freely, without hesitation to Him. Our time, our gifts, our finances and most importantly, our praise and worship. All we give to God must be with a proper motive of the heart.
The Book of Philippians was written by the Apostle Paul while he was imprisoned in Rome, likely around 61 or 62 AD. It is one of the four 'prison epistles' that Paul penned while in captivity. He counted it a joy to allow God to work everything for his good—even imprisonment. This epistle teaches us the secret of having joy in a less than perfect world.

Pastor Phil normally approaches the study of The Bible verse-by-verse, but The Lord has laid it on his heart to study The Book of Philippians topically.
Today Pastor Phil continues in Philippians, with Part 1 of his message, "Joy in Giving".
