Listen Later

Listen to our interview with SeeKPeeKRs of Calvert County, Maryland. Their first GPSR was the Garmin eTrex Legend but they're currently using the Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx. For paperless caching they use the notes function on their iPod loaded through MacCaching. They're playing with the Geocaching iPhone App. Their favorite location to cache has been their home state of Maryland. Her favorite books are the "Dragonriders of Pern" series. While for movies she likes "Tremors," "Buckaroo Banzai," "Star Trek," and "Star Wars." Favorite television series include "Amazing Race," "Big Bang Theory," "Firefly," and "Survivor." Favorite Musical Groups are "Carbon Leaf," "Genesis," "Rush," and "The Who."Our "Tip for the Seasoned Cacher" comes from Listener WRWhizard:"When you find a well worn 'GeoTrail' leading to the cache, it might be a good idea to drag some dead fall over to block it so it will grow back natural and help restore the difficulty of the original hide. In general, you should cover your tracks and leave no trace you were there. Conversely, I use the tracking skills I've begun to acquire, to follow the hider to his newly placed cache. I check logs to see how recently a cache has been found, and adjust for how old the traces should be when carefully approaching the cache area so as not to trample any clues."Twitter: SydneyAnneCache-A-Maniacs Discovery Coin: TB23G0EShow Sponsor: Podcacher PodcastContent Rating: NormalDate Recorded: November 20, 2009Show Notes: DarrylW4
