The planned Devonshire Gardens development will include a new, large public space on Devonshire Road. The developers, First Base, are running a competition amongst Cambridge residents to choose the plants. Neil finds out more from Project Manager, Douglas Higgins.

To submit your nomination, simply follow these steps:

* Consider which plant - ornamental and edible – you would like to see at the Devonshire Gardens site, and which will add to the biodiversity by encouraging bees, butterflies, insects and/or providing shelter for hedgehogs and small mammals.

* Send your nomination to [email protected] including:

* Your name

* Email address

* Plant nomination - you can submit one nomination for one or both categories

* Ornamental

* Edible

* A brief explanation of why you have nominated this plant

By providing your name and contact email address you are permitting First Base and Railpen to contact to you to organise delivery of your seedling or seeds and share further updates on the competition.

One nomination per category (ornamental, edible) per person only please.
