This lecture, by Professor Malcolm Longair, tells the story of the development of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Cosmology over the 800 years of Cambridge University's existence. A Cambridge Science Festival 2009 lecture.

Dr Sadaf Farooqi, a Wellcome Trust Senior Clinical Fellow at Addenbrooke's Hospital will look at the genetic factors which cause human obesity and the dramatic response that patients can experience following leptin therapy, including the critical role this hormone plays in the regulation of human food intake.
