Martin, quite literally, stumbles into a racist controversy for all the wrong reasons. Ruthie and a fellow student get in trouble at school after "recycling" material on their reports on great Americans. Martin insists that baseball is more important than Martin Luther King, Jr. and the teacher recognizes that the students need a more comprehensive history lesson on great African Americans and hysteria ensues.
