Mary and Robbie are finally allowed to go on a date outside of the house but under the condition that they double date with someone the Camdens trust so they set Lucy up with Robbie's brother, Rick, played by Lance Bass. Simon and Nigel choose a topic for their social studies project that gets them in trouble while Ruthie works on a science experiment that makes her wealthier. Matt continues to mope around now that Shana is gone.
