In an overwhelmingly sexist and played out story line, Kevin gets hurt on the job when he is beat up by a woman. Simon spends the entire episode whining about how he is going to skip his last year of high school and go to college and therefore everyone should miss him or throw a party or something. Ruthie and Peter's relationship is put to the test when they need to make a model of a coal mine for a class project. Martin enters the Camdens lives and is probably the real reason that Ruthie and Peter start fighting.
