Dumas fils' famous play La Dame aux Camélias. The story follows Marguerite Gautier, a beautiful Parisian courtesan suffering from consumption (tuberculosis), and Armand Duval, a young bourgeois man who falls deeply in love with her.

Marguerite, touched by Armand’s devotion, gives up her lavish lifestyle to live with him in the countryside.
