Abstract: The openSUSE Build Service is a tool to build software and distribute it for a wide range of Linux distributions. The web application makes updating packages easy for beginners, while collaboration mechanisms allow others to contribute changes to your projects with review, and the command line client is fast and powerful enough for professional packagers. The openSUSE-hosted instance has the build power to quickly compile large projects, and as a Free Software project it is available to install locally and modify to your needs.
