Welcome back to The Big Red Button, where the wasteland doesn't let you catch your breath, especially after you've pressed the button.
In this episode, the Stragglers emerge from the rubble of Mitten Point to face something none of them were ready for. With cages full of survivors scattered across the wreckage and the cultist threat seemingly behind them, the crew begins to pick up the pieces, until something ancient and terrible rises from the debris. What follows is a desperate, gut-wrenching fight that pushes Jake, Houston, and Gotfree to their absolute limits... and ends a chapter none of them will forget!
Episode Highlights:
A Grim Rescue: With wooden crates holding survivors scattered across the blast zone, the crew splits up to free the captives, and discovers just how organized and methodical the cult's operation truly was.
Rise of the Wendigo: Just when it seems the worst is over, something emerges from the rubble in shattered power armor and bone
What Jake Remembered: A spent luck point and a flashback to a conversation with Brotherhood initiates Pennington and Wellington just might be the key to defeating something nearly indestructible.
The Mind Battle: The Wendigo doesn't just fight with fists.
[REDACTED]: The moment this episode has been building toward. You'll want to hear it for yourself.
Notable Quotes:
"I think it's the Wendigo. I think he's real."
"You three have interfered for the last time."
"Are you hungry? I can take care of that. I can take care of you."
"You will not hurt any of my friends ever again."
"Friends here. Me here. Big world out. You smell like home. Like campfire. Like yesterday."
"I ran the statistics on that in approximately 0.003 seconds and I will keep them to myself."
