Sligo's Safe & Sound campaign encourages everyone to enjoy the town's vibrant nightlife with respect and care.

It aims to reduce anti-social behaviour, promote respect, and support the 4,100 people who work in Sligo's night-time economy.

New free training for nightlife staff is helping venues keep patrons safe throughout the festive season and all year round.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Night-Time Economy Advisor Edel Doran says the campaign's goal is to “enjoy it, support it, but also respect it.”
