INTERVIEW: Top Gauteng health official Babita Deokaran who was shot dead, will be laid to rest in KZN this afternoon.

She was shot several times outside her home in Mondeor, south of Johannesburg, shortly after dropping off her child at school on Monday morning.

The Special Investigating Unit confirmed that she was a key witness in the investigations into the fraudulent Covid-19 PPE contracts.
