Guys and Gals, we are pretty excited about our guest on this episode. We have Josh from the "What Lurks Beneath" channel. His channel is full of stories of the weird and wild experiences. On his channel, you will find stories about Bigfoot, Dogman, and UFOs. We are pretty stoked about this, and we hope you all can join us as we talk with him. Be sure to check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@whatlurksbeneath
Now that spring is upon us, it was time once again for the Indiana Outdoor YouTubers Meetup. We had a great time with friends and so much good food. In this episode, we will talk about it and reflect on 5 years of camping together with strangers who become family. We hope you will join us. #campfiresandcatholes
So we have taken some time off due to work schedules, blah blah blah insert excuses here. So Jeremy recently went on an overlanding trip in the Daniel Boone Byway, and he will be giving us a trip debrief. Additionally, we received our lottery results for the Mt. Whitney permit, and we would like to discuss our plans for the hike in more detail. We are pretty excited about what is to come. We hope you will join us for this discussion, because there are some surprises in store. Don't miss it
In this episode, we discuss further our plans for Mt Whitney Summit (if we get a permit). We are going to dive deeper into how to train for such an undertaking as we start the process. We also will touch on a recent trip we took to do some winter backpacking and camping in the cold weather. We will rave about some bean soup that Carlson's wife made him and of course make fun of each other relentlessly
And just like that we reappear out of nowhere. Join us for our triumphant return of the Campfires and Catholes Livestream. We are coming back to get back into the swing of things. The format will be a bit different. Less interviews and more discussion about things that matter, such as, gear, tips, tricks, and stories. We hope you will join us. We are also adding a third team member to the family. Jeremy from All Things Outdoors will be a regular now. You can find his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@All_Things_Out_Doors
If you are looking for the best gear reviews out there from an individual who lives the outdoor lifestyle. You need to look no further than Devin Ashby from Backcountry Exposure. We have followed Devin for quite a few years and that is why we are excited to have a sit-down conversation with him about his adventures, gear, experiences, and most of all how being a full-time content creator is going. This is going to be a great discussion that you won't want to miss. Be sure to head over to his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@BackcountryExposure and give him a sub and tell him Campfires and Catholes sent you
Well, it has been a long summer but we are ready to get back to talking about stuff. In this first episode of season 2, we are going to discuss some trips that we have taken, trips coming up, and overall outdoor-related stuff. We are excited to get back to doing these streams and have some amazing guests lined up for this season. On this stream/podcast, we will have Jeremy from All Things Outdoors joining us. Make sure you check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@All_Things_Out_Doors
Boy, do we have a great show for you all. We have two guests booked. For the first ten minutes, we will be visiting with Hayden from Neighborhood Packs. He is the founder and creator of one of the best upcoming handmade backpacking packs out there and we want to have him on for a bit to talk about his packs. You can find his website at neighborhoodpacks.com to check out his selection. Our main guest is Jonny and Colleen from Kuehl Kuest. They are a Michigan-based backcountry couple who have a successful YouTube channel that features their trips, live stream interviews with other backcountry couples, as well as other awesome adventures. We recently got to hang out with them at our Indiana Meetup and they are so interesting we wanted to have them on to talk about all their travels. You can find their channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@KUEHLKUEST go give them a sub and tell them we sent you over
