Happy Ugadi/Baisakhi/Gudi Padwa/ Pohela Boishakh from Radio Azim Premji University! We returned from semester break to a Bengaluru blushing with a floral tribute to the change of seasons. The peachy hues of Tabebuia, the comforting mauve of Jacaranda, the stunning firecrests of the Flame Of The Forest, the hot pink of Cassias, the deep purple of Pride of India… no wonder they once called this the Garden City. We’d love to stay but, hey, a holiday is the best cure for vacation blues. We have places to go. Can you hear that? It’s the last boarding call. Hurry up! Across India, we welcome spring in different ways. It’s a season of new love, of the abundance of food, a change of clothes, and music! On this episode of Campus Cast, we take you on a spring break.
