“I can't imagine a life without music [...] it's beautiful because it's like in my head I've got my own iPad and the screen never cracks and the battery never runs down. I've got this soundtrack going on the whole time and no one's aware of it apart from me, but I love it. [...] I can always find something to listen to that matches my mood, that matches what's going on. So I'll take that, it's something that most of the people don't have.”
Today’s guests are Nick Palfrey and his sign language interpreter Davide Erbogasto. Nick is deaf and we will talk about how deaf people experience music. He’s going to share with us how he appreciates music as a deaf person, which may be different but also beautiful, and show us how music is universal, however you feel it.
