On this episode of the Health Analytic Insights podcast I have the honour of interviewing my friend Mohamed Abdelazez, who is a PhD Candidate studying Biomedical Engineering. His research consists of applying signal processing techniques to quantify the quality of ECG signals and using machine learning and deep learning techniques to detect cardiovascular diseases. In this episode we talk about how to integrate machine learning into healthcare and some of the pitfalls, as well as, his journey (13:46) through the field of biomedical engineering from undergrad to now finishing his PhD.
