Have you ever been thirsty? Really thirsty? Or really hungry? We may fast by choice but rarely, if ever, by necessity. Can we really understand hungering and thirsting for God if we have never experienced physical hunger or thirst? What might it mean for God to be the answer to our deepest yearning?
