Not content with being the world's biggest search engine, Google has thrown down the gauntlet to Apple and Samsung with the launch of its new high end smartphone. Called Pixel, it has arrived on the market just weeks after a lacklustre response to Apple's iPhone Seven and as Samsung tries to recover from the damage caused by its latest phones exploding.
