We all think that what we are going through is something no one can help us through and that we are simply just stuck in where we are. It becomes so hard to leave your "safe space" because we think this is the life we have always lived and always would. This comes from the snowball effect when we don't deal with what we feel. We get temporary fixes and periods of relief from continuously falling back to where we feel safe. Sadly though, these temporary solutions can only help us get along so far unless we have something strong enough to help pull us through to where we wanted to be.
