The long answer is that you need to make sure that your diabetes is well maintained. That your A1C is within a normal limit and that you are checking your blood sugar levels regularly. 

 

If you combine that with regular care with your physician and bring all of that with you to your next DOT physical, you can definitely keep trucking healthy.
