Welcome back to the first episode of our Season 3! Today, it's all about the Z Fold 8 Ultra! Samsung once innovated in a way others didn't: they thought that a large phone could be what people needed. And then the Galaxy Note line saw the light of day and became an instant hit, and those initially mocking its size, eventually all fell in line, including the behemoth that was/is Apple. The Galaxy S Ultra is the Note with merely a name change and continues to be the top phone for Samsung, easily outselling, bringing in more revenues than other Samsung phones and consistently recognized by industry critics as the best phone. Why isn't the same thinking applied to the Z Fold line? While there has been a slow move in that direction, correcting the originally too narrow Fold 1 to 3, there is still a need to match the larger screen real estate with what it has in terms of potential and the larger screen it brings: a larger battery and an opportunity to have the S Pen encased in the phone.
