The Me-Suite

Can We All Belong?

Listen Later

Donna Peters partners with Precious Price for an interview with Tonia Morris, Founder of Simply HR and 2019 Stevie Award Winner for Maverick of the Year.

Tonia advises on workplace culture and originated the concept of G&I: generational inclusion.  Tonia recognized the need for G&I as biases, misunderstandings and tensions exist across the five generations in today's workforce.  Tonia knows we need one another, that we have more in common than we do differences.  "We need to all get along so we can all belong."

Tonia encourages leaders to adopt the CARE model to gain the most from the multi-generational workforce: Communicate, Appreciate, Respect, Engage.

Note: this episode was recorded during COVID-19 and prior to the racism pandemic.  Follow Tonia for more on how CEOs and professionals in the workforce can create solutions for both pandemics.
