Whew! Last weeks episode “ Things I wish I knew before saying I DO” ruffled a few feathers! Lol ( If you haven’t listened to it. 🛑 STOP 🛑 GO LISTEN THEN COME BACK..trust me, you’ll understand.)
Still in our Marriage series, I focus on a few major topics that has or can hindered marriages. With so many key points I planned to tackle, time only permitted I discuss the following:
📌Pillow Talk
📌SEX
This week’s challenge:
Set some time aside with your spouse to talk. See if you and your spouse are currently on the same page when it comes to pillow talk and sex. If not, set or update your save and secrete space.
Scripture references:
👉🏽For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.- Ephesians 6:12
👉🏽But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. -Galatians 5:22-23
👉🏽Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.-1 Corinthians 13:4-7
👉🏽But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. -1 John 4:8
LIFEFIRMATION: I communicate in a loving way with my partner. My spouse and I respect and appreciate ourselves and each other deeply. Trust for my partner is growing stronger each day.
