Of every podcast I’ve recorded with with the current cast this has been the hardest to record, we spoke with my mentor prior to recording and the discussion was this…what is the benefit of discussing the death of representative Gary Knopp on this particular podcast…who is served and what are they being served…Gary Knopp was elected state representative from the lovely Kenai Peninsula and on the morning of July 31, 2020, he took the sky and collided with a plane carrying tourists…the crash killed a total of 7 people including Mr. Knopp…Representative Knopp should not have been flying, preliminary reports from the National Transportation and Safety Board let us know Mr. Knopp failed the vision portion of his pilots exam multiple times…
