They also discuss the heaviness of the current social climate. Recent demonstrations from the 50 states of the US and 18 countries worldwide have made this one of the biggest human rights movements in history. This has led to much needed social awakening. However, the sudden attention on the effects of racism and anti-blackness is leading to interpersonal conflicts. What do you do if someone does not understand your plight as a black person? Do you CANCEL them? What if it is a person you love? Is there such a thing as agreeing to disagree on the topic of racism?
