Norman Finkelstein is an American political scientist, activist, former professor, and author. His primary fields of research are the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and the politics of the Holocaust. He is a graduate of Binghamton University and received his Ph.D. in political science at Princeton University. In the year 2020, Norman Finkelstein was named the fifth most influential political scientist in the world.

He is the author of many books that have been translated into 60 foreign editions, including The Holocaust Industry, He is currently writing a book tentatively titled, I'll Burn That Bridge When I Get To It.
