Sisters Katy Tinney and Shelly Tinney-Miller along with their friend, Kerry Solmonsen are all cancer survivors that know first-hand the expense a cancer diagnosis brings.  While comparing their personal journeys of fighting cancer, they all agreed that cancer is an extreme financial burden. Sparked by their love for high end fashion, Katy, Shelly and Kerry launched Cancer Cartel in May 2019 with a goal of selling donated high end garments and giving 100% of the proceeds back to individuals with cancer.
