This week, we’re thinking about Cancer--the mama of all the signs. We'll start with with the ancient Egyptian story of the birth of the world, which is tied to the sign of Cancer, and we’ll use that story to explore what Cancer has to teach us about bringing something new into the world. Then, we’ll talk about the last several years of Cancer-Capricorn eclipses--what we’ve been learning about nurturing and taking care of ourselves, and how we've been letting go of rigid old patterns, habits, and ideas around work and discipline. And finally, as usual, we’ll talk about how this Cancer care-taking energy emerges in our own lives and personalities, using our birth charts as a guide.
Show notes for this episode (with time stamps), timing for the next eclipse and a worksheet to download are at https://8th.house/blog/2020/5/7/cancer-just-wants-to-love-you
CREDITS: Intro clip music is “Pure Water,” by Meydän. Excerpt from THE EGYPTIAN MYTHS, by Garry J. Shaw.
