In this episode, Danet and Kensi talk through Jan - March of Danet's battle with insurance for coverage of histotripsy for her liver tumors found on Dec 31 2024. 

This vulnerable episode is an attempt to give voice to just how much Danet and her family went through in the month of January alone in just fighting for healthcare and treatment. 

The good news is that since this point, an official BCBS insurance approval did come through widely, and the procedure for treatment that Danet has had more recently, called Hepzato, IS being covered by insurance.
